Electronic Arts is hiring a Frontend Software Architect for its EAX team in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The role designs and oversees scalable front-end architectures for the EA app, EA Play, cross-platform subscription services, PC and Mac storefronts, and other web-based products. Responsibilities include establishing front-end standards, leading modern SPA development, optimizing performance across devices, improving developer experience, and mentoring engineers. The position requires 10+ years of technical experience in complex live services, 8+ years of front-end development focused on React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks, plus experience with GraphQL, NodeJS, Kubernetes, RESTful APIs, CI/CD, and automated testing. It is a hybrid role with a stated CAD 133,500–186,400 annual pay range and extended health, dental, and vision coverage.
