Description
Scale AI is hiring a Frontier Agent Engineer (Applied AI) to bridge frontier AI research and production deployment. The role designs, evaluates, and deploys production AI agents and enterprise systems using large language models, retrieval, structured knowledge, traditional machine learning, memory, tool use, and multi-agent architectures. It owns experimentation and evaluation, production reliability and observability, safe deployment, and direct enterprise customer collaboration across industries. The position requires at least four years of software engineering, machine learning, or applied AI experience and strong Python skills, with preferred experience in agentic systems, RAG, cloud platforms, distributed systems, and production tooling.
