Description
Scale AI is hiring a Frontier Agent Engineer (Forward Deployed Engineering) to architect, integrate, deploy, and operate production AI systems for strategic enterprise customers. The role combines software engineering, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, agent architectures, AI platform engineering, quality and observability, and customer-facing technical leadership. Candidates need at least four years of software engineering experience, strong Python skills, experience with LLM-based applications and cloud platforms, and the ability to translate complex enterprise requirements into scalable production systems. The position offers a base salary of $180,000–$225,000 USD for eligible locations, along with equity, health, dental, vision, retirement, learning, and paid-time-off benefits.
