Scale is hiring a Frontier Data Strategist for its Generative AI team to work with researchers at frontier AI labs, anticipate their data needs, and design human-data programs. The role bridges customer research priorities with Scale’s product roadmap, involving technical relationship building, task and data specification, quality and expert profiling, roadmap prioritization, opportunity scoping and forecasting, and handoff to delivery and engagement teams. Candidates need at least three years of technical AI/ML experience, fluency in the LLM training lifecycle, research-literature analysis skills, quantitative education, and strong stakeholder communication. The full-time position offers a base salary of $160,800–$201,000 USD in San Francisco, New York, or Seattle, plus equity and benefits.
