North Carolina Specialty Hospital is hiring a Sterile Processing Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of its Sterile Processing Department under the Surgical Services Director. The role supervises staff, manages surgical instrumentation and sterilization processes, maintains decontamination and sterilization documentation, monitors quality-improvement testing, supports equipment and instrument purchasing decisions, and ensures compliance with infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited sterile-processing program or equivalent clinical experience, supervisor certification, and 3–5 years of SPD experience.
