Description
The FTTH Network Design Engineer prepares, validates, and optimizes fiber-to-the-home network designs for outside and inside plant, including capacity calculations, fiber routes, splitters, terminal boxes, and optical distribution frames. The role coordinates with contractors, verifies quantities and material bills of materials, monitors technical deliverables, participates in client and internal meetings, prepares permit dossiers, and performs field validations. It requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or telecommunications field, at least two years of FTTH or outside-fiber experience, knowledge of electrical installations and grounding, and proficiency with design and office tools.
