Description
Pivotal is hiring a Full Stack Data Engineer to build internal flight-data applications for engineering teams. The role covers backend Python services and HTTP APIs querying Athena and S3, web front ends for large telemetry datasets, AI-assisted diagnostic tooling, self-serve analysis, data cataloging, alert review, and distributed analysis tooling. The engineer will own deployment, testing, code review, CI/CD, and monitoring, while collaborating directly with engineering teams. The position requires at least two years of professional web-application experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, Python and SQL proficiency, and modern JavaScript or TypeScript front-end experience. Applicants must be eligible for employment in the United States and work onsite at Pivotal’s headquarters in Palo Alto, California.
