Description

BlackRock SMA Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Developer to contribute to their codebase, focusing on customizing portfolios for clients. The role involves developing features for both the front-end web application (React-based) and backend microservices (Python-based), along with designing and implementing functionalities for equity portfolio construction tools. The successful candidate will troubleshoot issues, continuously improve the enterprise fintech platform, and ensure maintainable code.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Three to four years of experience in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications: Solid knowledge of programming fundamentals—algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and paradigms.
Web development experience, with strong understanding of front-end and back-end ecosystems.
Experience with modern object-oriented languages (Python, Java, C#, Kotlin, Swift, etc.).
Experience in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem.
Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate and work effectively, supporting various business departments.
Ability to work in fast-paced interdisciplinary environment.
