Teledyne CARIS is hiring a Developer for Cartographic Production Tools in Fredericton, New Brunswick, to develop and evolve the Hydrographic Production Database. The role involves building C++ application-layer features, developing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures, maintaining backend services and APIs, supporting data ingestion and validation, contributing to geospatial data modeling, and participating in testing, performance tuning, and continuous integration. Candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering, at least four years of backend or full-stack development experience, strong relational-database and SQL experience, API development experience, and C++ backend development experience.
