Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer for a 100% U.S.-based remote W-2 position supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. The role focuses on building, supporting, and migrating a cloud-based web dashboard that processes healthcare EDI transactions, designing and maintaining RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, integrating Angular front-end components, and collaborating with AWS and C#/.Net engineers. The position requires U.S. citizenship, eligibility for Public Trust clearance, a bachelor's degree in a technical field, and 8+ years of software development and API experience, with strong emphasis on healthcare data, testing, Git/GitHub, Agile practices, and code quality.
