Capital One is hiring a Full-stack Engineer 4 for its Tech College Engineering Community Support team to lead diverse technology projects and a team of developers, provide technical leadership across Agile teams, and support regulatory, cloud-based, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems. The role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative field, at least four years of software engineering experience, and at least two years of experience with public cloud platforms or related technologies. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, extensive coding and cloud experience, open-source contributions, API and CI/CD expertise, and engineering leadership. The position is available in McLean, Virginia; Plano, Texas; and Richmond, Virginia, with full-time annual salaries ranging from $179,400 to $225,100 depending on location, and no employer-sponsored work authorization.
