CueBox is hiring a backend-leaning full-stack engineer to build, maintain, and scale its software for performing arts and cultural organizations. The role involves developing backend systems, pioneering new product features, influencing technical direction, and contributing to engineering quality through design discussions, code review, and documentation. The engineer will work with a Golang/Protobuf/Postgres backend, React/Next.js/Chakra UI frontend, Python data pipelines, and GCP, while also contributing to AI features, checkout flows, payments, and analytics. The position is hybrid in New York City, requires at least four years of professional software engineering experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, and offers a base salary of approximately $145,000–$185,000 plus equity and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
