Description

Velora Health is hiring a full-stack engineer to own payments, subscriptions, identity, third-party integrations, and the internal Velora Tools platform. The role spans React, React Native, Hono, Bun, Drizzle, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform, Stripe, Firebase, BankID, and PostHog, with responsibility for end-to-end product development, system abstractions, integrations, observability, incident investigation, and CI/CD. The position is full-time and hybrid in Stockholm, requires fluent Swedish, and offers a monthly salary set by experience and scope.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 3 years of experience building and operating production backend or full-stack systems, ideally in TypeScript.
Experience building or owning payment, subscription, or identity systems in production.
Experience running services on Google Cloud Platform or a comparable cloud, including CI/CD, secrets, and observability.
Experience in healthcare, fintech, or another regulated environment.
A track record of shipping independently rather than only contributing to larger efforts.
Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency across the TypeScript, React, Node/Bun backend, and PostgreSQL stack, with depth on the backend.
Ability to think in failure modes, including idempotency, retries, ordering, timeouts, and user-visible failures.
Daily use of AI tools with the ability to question generated answers, verify assumptions, and recognize privacy, security, and correctness concerns.
