Description
HSBC is hiring a Full Stack Engineer in Equities & Securities Financing Technology to build and enhance an in-house margin and risk platform used by Risk Managers globally. The role owns the full software lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, automated testing, releases, production operations, incident response, security, and operational stability. It requires backend development with Java 17 or 21 and Spring Boot or Spring Framework, REST APIs, Google Cloud Platform services, microservices, event-driven architecture, caching, JUnit testing, and Agile and DevOps practices. The position is hybrid and based in the Toronto office, with collaboration across London, Guangzhou, and Toronto.
