Simon & Schuster is hiring a Full-Stack .NET Developer to modernize legacy COBOL batch programs and related order-management, fulfillment, partner-integration, and financial-transactions systems. The role builds .NET worker services, APIs, T-SQL stored procedures, and modern web front ends; uses AI-assisted development while critically validating generated code; and supports validation, reconciliation, debugging, and production cutover. Candidates need at least five years of full-stack .NET experience, strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills, backend service and front-end web development experience, and a production mindset.
