Description
The University Library at Helmut Schmidt University / University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg is hiring a Full-Stack Software Developer to design and develop backend and full-stack components for capturing KDSF-compliant research information in the openHSU institutional repository and research information system. The role contributes to software architecture, data models, integrations, testing, documentation, project management, and collaboration with the international DSpace community. It requires a university degree in computer science or a comparable field, experience with complex backend and frontend software systems, and German language skills at C1 level; Spring, Java, Angular, TypeScript, REST, HATEOAS, and database experience are desirable. The position is limited-term until 30 April 2029, part-time at 39 hours per week, and offers telework and mobile working options.
