Outdesk is looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to create and maintain a custom web-based drawing review and document management platform for the construction industry. This role involves designing and implementing a scalable, enterprise-grade solution from MVP to production, focusing on features like drawing management, document control, collaboration, and AI-powered document processing. The ideal candidate will own the technical architecture and development, ensuring integration with existing systems and optimizing performance.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Proven experience as a Full Stack Software Developer building and deploying production web applications.
Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
Strong backend development experience using Node.js and TypeScript.
Experience designing and developing REST APIs, with GraphQL experience highly regarded.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, database optimisation, indexing, query performance, and data migrations.
Experience handling large files, particularly PDFs and document-based workflows.
Practical experience with PDF rendering, manipulation, image processing, OCR, or document indexing.
Strong understanding of cloud-based application development and deployment.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, automated deployments, monitoring, and logging.
Strong understanding of application security, including RBAC, OAuth, secure API design, encryption, and audit logging.
Experience working independently and taking ownership of technical architecture and development decisions.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in any of the following areas will be highly regarded: Construction or engineering software, Drawing and document management systems, CAD workflows and engineering documentation, PDF annotation and review platforms, Bluebeam-style applications, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, AI-assisted document processing, Computer vision and OCR technologies, Enterprise document management systems.
