Description

Merck Healthcare is hiring a full-stack/backend software engineer for its Advanced Data Science team in Israel. The role designs, prototypes, builds, and evolves AI-enabled applications for pharmaceutical Research & Development, including backend services, APIs, databases, frontend components, workflows, integrations, and production-grade software. The engineer partners with scientists, AI/ML experts, UX, business stakeholders, and IT teams while applying secure, scalable software engineering practices such as testing, CI/CD, containerization, observability, and cloud deployment.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related technical discipline

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pharmaceutical R&D, healthcare, life sciences, or another regulated environment
Cross-functional collaboration with AI/ML, UX, business, and enterprise IT teams
