Description

Range Energy is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to build the digital backbone of its electrification platform. The role develops frontend applications, backend services, APIs, dashboards, data pipelines, and analytics tools that ingest and process telemetry from connected vehicles and support fleet monitoring, diagnostics, and operational intelligence. The engineer will collaborate with firmware, embedded, systems, and hardware teams and contribute to architecture, testing, CI/CD, and infrastructure. The position is based in Mountain View, California, with a disclosed annual salary range of $140,000 to $260,000.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 3–7+ years of full stack software development experience
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with distributed systems
Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and time-series high-resolution, high-volume data
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Experience working cross-functionally with hardware and embedded systems teams
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IoT systems, telemetry data, or connected devices
Familiarity with vehicle data protocols such as CAN and UDS
Experience building data visualization tools or analytics platforms
Exposure to real-time data processing with Kafka or streaming systems
Background in fleet, logistics, automotive, or energy industries
