Roche is hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer to serve as the foundational software engineering anchor for its Applied AI Engineering team. The role covers frontend UI, backend architecture, cloud deployment, API design, DevOps, and secure AI application integrations, including TypeScript, React/Next.js or Angular, Python, AWS, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, and agentic software development. The position requires 7+ years of software engineering experience, a relevant degree, and is based in Hyderabad, India, with working hours aligned to Central European Time.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, master's degree, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent
Required Previous Experiences: 7+ years of software engineering experience focused on backend development, cloud infrastructure, frontend architecture, and DevOps
Experience building backends for complex AI and LLM-powered applications, including streaming responses and safe user interfaces
Experience using AI coding agents in an agentic software development lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Snowflake, OpenSearch, MCP, graph databases, and Generative UI libraries
Experience leveraging agentic AI in the software development lifecycle
Experience building scalable, secure, resilient, and highly available systems
Experience working in highly regulated industries
Understanding of enterprise security, IAM, data handling, and responsible AI deployment
