Description

State Street is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to modernize technology supporting Internal Audit. The individual contributor will design, build, test, and operate cloud-native full-stack applications and APIs, lead technical architecture and engineering standards, manage CI/CD and production operations, integrate AI/ML capabilities, and support security, privacy, compliance, and data platforms. The role requires 7+ years of enterprise full-stack experience, strong cloud and DevOps expertise, and proficiency with technologies including React, TypeScript, Node.js, SQL/NoSQL, AWS or Azure, and Kubernetes. The salary range is $120,000-$202,500 annually, with medical, dental, and vision coverage included in the benefits program.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Required Previous Experiences: 7+ years delivering enterprise full-stack web applications and APIs in cloud environments with production-system ownership
Senior or lead engineer experience driving technical design decisions and mentoring engineers
DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and release management
Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into applications through APIs, orchestration, evaluation gating, and monitoring
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree
Experience with Databricks or other data lakehouse platforms
Background supporting Internal Audit, Risk, or Finance corporate functions
Experience with performance tuning, distributed systems, and high-availability production applications
Familiarity with enterprise identity platforms, zero-trust architectures, or advanced security controls
Cloud, security, or architecture certifications in Azure or AWS
