SOAS is hiring a full-time Basic EMT for rotating 24-on, 48-off shifts in Ardmore and Healdton, Oklahoma. The role operates an emergency medical vehicle, transports injured or sick persons, provides emergency treatment, communicates with medical personnel, examines patients, and maintains ambulance equipment and supplies. Applicants must be EMT certified and able to obtain an Oklahoma EMS license and driver’s license, have a clean driving record and no criminal history, and pass a physical fitness test; CPR certification is preferred. Compensation is $14.00 per hour, with a $2,000 upfront sign-on bonus and $1,000 relocation assistance for candidates moving into the service area.
