Description
The Flex Float Direct Support Professional provides person-centered support to individuals with disabilities across multiple residential and community-based program locations. Duties include building relationships, assisting with daily routines and personal care, supporting health and safety needs, administering medications, providing transportation, documenting services, and encouraging independence. The role requires open availability across weekdays, alternate weekends, and varied shifts, including overnight shifts, and may involve travel between locations. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, pass a DHS background study, and have basic computer skills; a high school diploma or GED and experience working with individuals with disabilities are preferred. The position reports to the House Supervisor, is non-exempt, and includes paid training, PTO, paid holidays, health, dental, life, and disability insurance.
