California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly) is hiring a full-time lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department for the 2026-2027 academic year, with a possible one-year extension depending on departmental need and satisfactory evaluations. The role focuses on teaching fundamental mechanical engineering courses such as design communication, engineering mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mechanical design. Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field, demonstrate strong written and oral English communication, and show a commitment to student-centered, collaborative teaching.
