Description
The Nursing Assistant provides bedside patient care, including personal care, vital signs, patient transport, meal service, admission and discharge support, chart maintenance, and supplies inventory. The role also handles nursing station reception and clerical duties, patient registration, communication with patients and staff, and participation in training and audits. Candidates need CPR certification, basic medical knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to work frequently on their feet; new or non-certified assistants may be trained in hospital care standards.
