Description
IKS Health is hiring a remote Medical Coder to review outpatient, physician, and emergency-room medical records and assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and CPS codes, principal diagnoses and procedures, DRGs, and related clinical information. The role requires CPC, COC, CIC, CCA, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA credentials, at least three years of general surgery coding experience and two years of ophthalmology or multispecialty coding experience, proficiency with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and CPS, and the ability to pass a coding proficiency test. The position pays $28–$32 per hour and includes healthcare, 401(k), and paid time off subject to eligibility requirements.
