Description
Bucks County Community College is hiring a full-time Special Term Contract Instructor for English Composition in the School of Language & Literature for the 2026–2027 academic year. The instructor will teach foundational writing, standard, and honors composition courses across in-person, online, and hybrid formats at Newtown, Bristol, or Perkasie campuses. Responsibilities include course planning, instruction, assessment, student engagement, and professional development. Applicants need a master's degree in English, Composition/Rhetoric, or M.F.A. in Creative Writing, plus at least one year of relevant teaching experience; community college teaching experience is preferred. The appointment begins August 15, 2026, and the college does not provide work visa sponsorship.
