Nuvance Health Med Practice PC is hiring a full-time Surgical Physician Assistant for the Surgical PA Service at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, New York. The role provides OR first-assist coverage across multiple surgical specialties, perioperative management and daily rounding for general surgery patients, admissions and consults, emergent night coverage from home, and floor procedures such as NG tube placement, wound-vac and dressing changes, and bedside incision and drainage. The position consists of four 10-hour shifts weekly plus one weekend shift per month, with onboarding and training. Candidates must graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program and hold NCCPA certification; surgical and patient-management experience is sought, while new graduates may be considered. Compensation is $120,000-$165,000 annually, commensurate with experience, with benefits and CME/professional expense allowances.
