Responsibilities include preparing and comforting patients, operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, assessing image quality, collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams, and documenting patient information and imaging records. The role requires knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and ultrasound technology, along with communication, teamwork, patient care, and professional judgment. It involves standing for long periods, lifting patients or equipment, and working rotating shifts, days, weekends, and on-call duties.
