Description
Salmon is hiring a remote Mobile and Backend Quality Engineer to own quality across mobile applications and backend services. The role tests iOS and Android apps, APIs, and end-to-end product flows; investigates production issues; defines and maintains automated test coverage; assesses release risk; and uses scripts, API clients, and AI-assisted workflows to reduce manual work. Candidates need at least three years of QA or software testing experience, mobile and backend testing knowledge, basic coding ability, and strong bug-investigation skills. The position is fully remote with core collaboration hours from 13:00 to 19:00 Manila time (UTC+8) and includes medical insurance support, vacation, sick leave, and other benefits.
