Zalando is hiring a Fullstack Software Engineer for its Berlin-based Transport Planning Optimization team within the Logistics Technology department. The role involves designing, developing, deploying, operating, and improving fullstack software solutions using Kotlin for the backend and TypeScript with React for the frontend, while optimizing transport planning, scheduling, execution, and settlement. Responsibilities include sprint planning, feature implementation and testing, production deployment, API and microservice integration, cloud architecture, and collaboration with stakeholders. The position requires at least 4–5 years of professional software engineering experience, proficiency in Kotlin and SQL, modern frontend development experience, and experience across the software development lifecycle. The role offers a hybrid model with up to 60% remote work per week.
