Description
EDAG is hiring a Functional Safety Engineer to support hazard and risk analysis, ASIL classification, functional safety goals, hardware and software requirements, fault-tree and failure-mode analyses, root-cause investigations, safety assessments, audits, and safety cases for vehicle homologation. The role collaborates with engineering teams and suppliers across the system-V development lifecycle and requires expertise in automotive electrical engineering, embedded systems, communication protocols, and mechatronics. The position is a 12-month project and requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, extensive automotive EE architecture experience, and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
