Description
Bedrock Robotics is hiring a Functional Safety Engineer to define functional and technical safety concepts across autonomous construction-machine systems, with a focus on hardware. The role partners with safety, hardware, and software teams to develop safety requirements, safety mechanisms, verification and validation plans, test infrastructure, fault-injection and hardware-in-the-loop tests, and fault-metric diagnostics. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience, at least seven years in safety-critical hardware or systems engineering, hands-on hardware experience, and strong knowledge of functional-safety standards and analysis techniques.
