Description
The Functional Safety Engineer will lead functional safety activities for an electric vehicle platform from early concept development through requirements definition, safety-plan and HARA/TARA development, safety requirements refinement and allocation, verification, and impact analysis. The role manages ISO 26262 knowledge and safety culture, coaches system engineers, represents the team in functional safety forums, and supports verification and confirmation reviews. Candidates need an M.Sc. in a relevant engineering or science field, at least five years of documented system development and functional safety experience, knowledge of automotive safety standards, and experience with E/E system development and requirements management tools.
