Description
Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH is hiring a Functional Safety Engineer to support future-oriented defense projects involving functional safety for E/E and PE systems under ISO 26262 and IEC 61508. The role covers safety architecture, safety plans, safety analyses, technical specifications, reviews, audits, and coordination with project, production, quality, customer, and supplier teams. It requires a technical or natural science degree, functional-safety experience, knowledge of software-defined defense and vehicle networks, IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 familiarity, team-moderation experience, and strong German and English skills. The position can be based in Kassel or Kiel.
