Description
The Functional Safety Engineer will develop, implement, and maintain functional safety concepts for robotic applications across system, hardware, and software levels. The role leads hazard and risk assessments, FMEA/FMEDA, and FTA; creates safety plans, safety cases, requirements, and validation reports; ensures compliance with ISO 13849, IEC 61508, IEC 62061, ISO 10218, and the Machinery Directive; and coordinates safety-critical requirements with system, embedded software, hardware, control, and certification teams. The position requires a master's or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline, more than three years of functional safety engineering experience, and strong knowledge of safety standards and analysis tools.
