Description
The Functional Safety Engineer will support Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies’ Functional Safety Engineering team in the infotainment and connected-vehicle domain. The role covers safety analysis, requirements development, HARA and safety-goal generation, DFMEA/FTA/FMEDA, safety mechanisms, and validation using LabCar and HiL environments. It requires a relevant engineering degree, 2–3 years of automotive functional safety or systems engineering experience, electronic hardware fault-diagnosis skills, and ISO 26262 knowledge.
