Description
Assystem is hiring a Functional Safety Engineer to support the engineering, integration, maintenance, testing, and documentation of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) for CERN’s accelerator and experimental facilities. The role includes SIS modifications, incident analysis, periodic requalification, user support, software and document repository management, and may involve risk analysis, SIL allocation, technical specifications, validation testing, and SIS auditing. Candidates need an engineering or experienced technician background in safety automation, control systems, or industrial computing, at least five years of SIS experience in a regulated environment, and proficiency with IEC 61511 and IEC 61508 standards and relevant safety automation systems.
