Description
The Functional Safety Manager leads the safety strategy and governance for a product portfolio, develops safety plans and the Safety Case, coaches safety engineers, and represents safety to management, certification authorities, notified bodies, and auditors. The role requires an MSc or PhD in a relevant engineering field, more than three years of functional-safety experience including at least two years of active functional-safety management, and expertise in IEC 61508, ISO 13849, IEC 61508, ISO 13849, ISO 10218, HARA, FMEA, FTA, STPA, and related safety tools.
