Description
The Functional Safety Manager will own the functional safety strategy and safety case methodology across a product portfolio, including safety planning, governance, HARA, FMEA, FTA, STPA, requirement traceability, verification, and safety-case closure. The role also leads and coaches safety engineers, represents safety to executive leadership, certification authorities, notified bodies, and auditors, and adapts safety approaches to evolving regulations such as the EU Machinery Regulation and AI Act. The position requires an MSc or PhD in a relevant engineering field, at least three years of functional safety engineering experience, and strong expertise in IEC 61508, ISO 13849, and related safety methods and tools.
