Description
Garrett Motion is hiring a Systems Functional Safety Engineer to work as an individual contributor in its Electrification Center of Excellence. The role analyzes customer functional safety requirements, develops functional and technical safety concepts, leads system-level safety analyses, supports safety plans and safety cases, and promotes functional safety culture. The position requires at least eight years of automotive engineering experience including electrical hardware and software development, L1 ISO 26262 certification, five or more years of ISO 26262 experience, in-vehicle communication protocol knowledge, requirements management experience, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
