The Funeral Service Assistant supports grieving families and funeral-service operations by providing information and assistance, moving casketed remains and related items, preparing public spaces, assisting families with limousines, and coordinating visitors, pallbearers, and parking during services. The role requires client-relations experience, a valid driver’s license, strong communication and customer-service skills, and the ability to handle emotionally charged situations; it is performed in an indoor office setting with occasional outdoor travel and requires lifting up to 25 pounds.
