Description
The Funeral Services Associate provides personalized support to families after a loved one’s death, including arranging and conducting funeral and memorial ceremonies, preparing contracts and legal documents, coordinating interment or cremation, assisting with services and visitations, delivering keepsakes, and providing aftercare. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, enrollment in or completion of a mortuary college or technical school program, at least six months of funeral home, crematory, or cemetery experience, applicable licensing, a valid driver’s license, computer and MS Office knowledge, and the ability to work indoors and outdoors, stand or sit for extended periods, travel up to 25%, and work beyond standard hours. The position pays $21.00 per hour and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability, life insurance, and other benefits.
