Description
O-I is hiring a Batch & Furnace Operator to safely and effectively operate a glass-packaging furnace. The role monitors temperature, pressure, and other critical parameters; analyzes performance data; performs routine maintenance and repairs; optimizes fuel consumption; coordinates with other departments; maintains records; and supports training and safety initiatives. The position works 12-hour shifts on a 4-on-4-off schedule and requires industrial production experience, mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, familiarity with manufacturing safety procedures, and the ability to interpret technical manuals.
