Description
Helion is hiring an onsite Fusion Hardware Engineer in Everett, Washington to own hardware designs for fusion generator prototypes. The role involves designing and improving electromagnetic, structural, fluid, thermal, and control subsystems; developing and testing high-voltage and low-voltage pulsed-power capacitor-bank hardware; optimizing designs for high-volume manufacturing; and collaborating with mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and production teams. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in engineering, at least seven years of full-scope engineering experience, hands-on exposure to multiple engineering disciplines, experience designing and launching production hardware, and advanced CAD and FEA skills.
