Intuitive is hiring a Systems Analyst (Robotic Control Engineer) for its Ion Software Engineering Team. The role focuses on generating, tuning, and debugging algorithms for robotic surgical products, developing software tools and infrastructure, evaluating electromechanical safety and clinical risk, performing algorithm testing, supporting mechanical, hardware, and software integration, documenting intellectual property, improving workflows, and tracking system performance through manufacturing. The position requires C/C++ and Matlab programming, hardware and software integration experience, rigorous mechanical modeling and analysis, and a PhD or MS in a robotics-related field; a PhD is preferred and 5+ years of related experience is preferred.
