Qualcomm Canada ULC is hiring an Interim Engineering Intern - Systems for its Machine Learning Systems Team in Markham, Canada. The intern will work at the intersection of machine learning, compiler technology, and AI hardware architecture, optimizing neural networks for Qualcomm AI accelerators, contributing to ML compiler stacks, and developing performance models and simulation infrastructure. The role requires proficiency in Python or C++, strong analytical and debugging skills, and study toward a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field. The 16-month internship is available May/June 2027 through August/September 2028, with a stated pay range of $54,600 to $103,350 and housing stipend support.
