Qualcomm Canada ULC is hiring an Interim Engineering Intern - Systems for its Machine Learning Systems Team in Markham, Canada. The intern will work on compilers, AI hardware architecture, performance modeling, and simulation for Qualcomm’s Neural Processing Unit, optimizing neural networks and AI workloads for efficiency, scalability, and power. The role requires Python or C++ proficiency, strong analytical and debugging skills, and study toward a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field; 16-month internships require availability from May/June 2027 through August/September 2028. Compensation is $54,600 to $103,350, with housing stipend, accrued vacation, and other benefits.
