Description
The Recreation Activities Specialist performs recreation activities for children enrolled in the Community Schools Division. The role administers assigned programs, supports the Site Supervisor with program organization, participant well-being, attendance reports, financial statements, and deposits, attends staff meetings, and contributes to continuous improvement and customer-driven service. The position requires interpersonal and communication skills, specialized occupational training, a high school education, and one to two years of relevant experience or apprenticeship/internship experience. It involves intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing, and other physical activities, and is typically performed in an office, library, or computer room.
