Cloud Chamber is hiring a Gameplay Engineer to bridge technical execution and creative vision for player-centric gameplay systems. The role involves collaborating with design, art, animation, audio, and engineering teams; architecting and implementing gameplay systems for player verbs, camera, weapons, and other features; adapting and building technology in Unreal Engine 5; identifying technical risks; and maintaining code quality and testing standards. Candidates need at least three years of industry or related experience, gameplay-engineering experience, C/C++ and 3D math skills, object-oriented design knowledge, console experience, and familiarity with player-centric systems. The position offers a California base salary of $85,700 to $126,860 per year, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.
